The Scenar Professional Association of North America (SPANA) was established solely to assist and support the professional development and growth of the Scenar Practitioner in Northern America.

  • SPANA would like to extend an invitation to you to join the Scenar Professional Association of North America.
  • The SPANA board is made up of peers who have been involved in Scenar for many years and are helping formulate the professional development and growth of the Scenar Practitioner in Northern America.  The SPANA board meets monthly on the first Monday of each month.
  • SPANA is a springboard for professional growth.  Opportunities are made available to the members for promoting their research, receiving national and international recognition, meeting and interacting with leaders in their field, and connecting other SPANA members throughout North America.
  • As our membership grows SPANA will be  a resource for training & educational development for the Scenar Practitioner of North America.

Scenar Health Canada are proud to be a founding member of the Scenar Professional Association and encourage all the graduates of the RITM Scenar Institute Course to be a member.

Scenar Practitioner Information

Scenar therapy is unique because it interactively locates, measures and prompts areas in the body (asymmetries) through the skin to help relieve pain and restore function.

Scenar devices are available for purchase in the United States and Canada.  (FDA clearance KO92117 and Health Canada cleared)

As a professional organization SPANA can only support those devices that are listed and registered with the FDA (US) and Health Canada .  They should meet engineering standard such as CE, ISO 9001, ISO 13485.  Devices purchased from non authorized distributors may not be covered under these certificates.

Scenar Devices are available from the distributors that work with RITM Canada & RITM America. As part of the SPANA Constitution, the Association of Scenar Practitioners remains independent of these organizations.

SPANA seeks to develop properly trained body of Scenar practitioners and to promote integrity within this industry.

SPANA has also been set up to support Scenar practitioners.  Scenar Therapy can be used as a stand alone or adjunct to varied professions including but not limited to:  Chiropractor, Physical Therapists, Remedial Massage Therapists, RN’s, Oestopaths, Massage Therapists, Animal Health Care Specialists, Pain Clinics, Pain Management for Chronic Pain, MD’s, MND’s, Sports Medicine, Reflexology, Reiki, Energy Worker etc.

Scenar Professional Association of North America Mission

SPANA seeks to promote, represent and support the Scenar profession in North America. It seeks to contribute to the development of this new profession by providing quality resources and services to members and to the wider community.

SPANA pursues a policy of self regulation and self determination for the Scenar profession (Scenar Practitioner). We believe that Scenar is a valuable modality in its own right. As a therapeutic modality, it complements both traditional and orthodox treatments. Scenar therapy is non-invasive yet effective.

By monitoring professional standards within the profession of Scenar Professional Association of North America they intend to build public confidence in Scenar therapy.

SPANA is administered by an Executive Board which is elected by the members. The Executives give their time, knowledge and energy voluntarily.
