Before your first Scenar ® Therapy treatment we ask you come in about 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment so you can fill out a Patient details and medical history form. Your initial visit will be comprehensive so please allow at least an hour for your treatment. You will then be shown to a treatment room and meet your Scenar ® practitioner.  You will then discuss with them the reason for your visit, chronic pain, acute pain, sports injury, pain management etc.

What will happen during your Scenar ® Treatment ?

The Scenar ® device is a reflex biofeedback hand held unit and the Scenar ® Practitioner will apply it onto your skin until you feel a tingling sensation. It will be slightly uncomfortable but not painful.

The treatment will last for approximately one hour for most people. For acute pain injuries the treatment time is usually about 30 minutes. The Scenar ® Practitioner will “brush’ the device over your skin during your treatment. You will be encouraged to tell your therapist of any changes you feel/sensations you experience. The aim is to achieve a CHANGE in your condition during the treatment.
